My fave acai spot! I've been here 3+ times and my experience is always simple and quick! It's a small establishment meant for quick orders, there is no seating inside. There's a kiosk where you can place an order inside. I appreciate the convenience and simplicity of the self ordering, as it lays all the add ons out and you can pretty much add as many toppings as you want without additional fees. The bowls are so good and fresh. I love the wide variety of bases, fruits, granolas, and toppings you can add on. Of course it depends on what combinations you're ordering, but my bowls come out so good every time!! Anytime I crave an acai bowl, this place is my go-to!

Palmetto Superfoods is consistently delightful! I'd had it a handful of times before, usually through delivery, but we visited in person on Saturday morning. The space itself is tiny and clearly designed for takeout. However, Santana Row has plenty of spots to sit outside on a nice day. We ordered on the self-service kiosk, so zero social interaction was required. Service was efficient and quick! I chose the Harvest Blend and my friend opted to build her own bowl. The medium size was the perfect portion for me and having the steel cut oats as part of the base helped keep me full for longer. I loved the combination of coffee granola, strawberries, mango, banana, pumpkin seeds, mulberries, and matcha powder, as well - a good mix of juicy and crunchy toppings. You can't really go wrong with your order here! I've tried the "Bom Dia" A.M. Blend and Bay Blend, and both have been delicious. Will continue to return!

so refreshing! I loveeee their açaí bowls and smoothies. This place is pretty popular so expect to wait 20 min or more sometimes. Plenty of seating outdoors, inside of the store is very small and cramped.

Have yet to try a bowl here, but for now this place is definitely in my rotation for a good smoothie. So many cool ingredients and a lot of transparency of what goes into their food and why. I dock off one star for Palmetto at Santana Row because I really wish there was more space inside when ordering/picking up. Also, my friend ordered a smoothie before me, but didn't end up getting his drink until after me and a few other customers. Would still come back and try other smoothies and bowls!

Ordered this bowl during a long 16-hour work day and it revived me. For those who don't want intensely fruity or tart bases, I would recommend trying the matcha and spirulina bases for a mellow and creamy blend. All the fruit toppings are fresh and cut into appropriately-sized pieces. The dried mulberry toppings were a little stickier than anticipated, but had a nice tartness to counteract the sugar added. Palmetto will continue to be my go-to spot for acai bowls going forward.

Was heavily craving an acai bowl so stopped by Palmetto while running errands. They were super busy and said orders will take around 20-30 minutes. I still ordered on the tablet in store and got text message updates on when my order was ready (about 25 minutes). A small bowl was about $9 before tip. You can customize everything in the bowl, including the base, nut butters, and all fruit/dry toppings. Definitely tasty and fully loaded, a perfect hearty and filling bowl despite looking small.

A refreshing sweet treat! It was at the center of town and center, so it was the perfect dessert spot after lunch. You order on a kiosk and they prepare it right in front of you, and I liked seeing how they use/chop their own fresh fruits and toppings. The size difference between small and medium is crazy, nearly double. I got a small this time but it was so delicious that I think I could attempt the medium! I got the matcha and coconut base with coffee granola (the best option!!), strawberries, banana, papaya, mango, and the condensed coconut cream. Seriously so good!

Palmetto Superfoods is a MUST STOP when you visit Santana Row! I love healthy delicious drinks because I drink stuff so fast lol... I used to be all about boba tea, but I got older and wiser. I ordered the pacific blend smoothie and it was DELICIOUS!!! I also added hemp seed protein. Ingredients: Pitaya, Tropical Spirulina, Gluten Free Maple Cinna-Hemp Granola (O, V, NF, CGF), Blueberries, Banana, Flax Seeds, Lion's Mane Mushroom Powder. A very nutritious and vitamin rich smoothie! Pretty incredible how sweet it was!! I wish I could get some nutritional value but oh well. Service was good. And the store is small but plenty of relaxing outdoor seating.

FLAVOR (5/5): Probably one of the best açaí bowls I've had in the Bay Area. Love the option to customize it to exactly all the ingredients you love. I've tried a few of their bases already and can confidently say I'm not a papaya or chia pudding girl but everything else was refreshing and paired well together! INSTAGRAM WORTHY (5/5): The bowls are layered and topped with love. It's super colorful which in turn makes it really fun to eat. The store itself is in Santana row so the vibes to eat this outside under the palm trees on a summer day with your puppy are just chefs kisses! SERVICE (1/5): If you're ordering on the app they won't call your name when your order is ready nor will the app let you know. I had an estimated ETA for when my order was ready but the app never confirmed it was finished so I just kept waiting for my name to be called because the store was always calling names! Lo and behold after 15 minutes past my ETA I finally go up to the counter to ask for an update and my order was pulled out of the freezer. It was complete a long time ago they just didn't bother notifying me. TAKEAWAYS: Their small bowl is pretty small. If you're just looking for a dessert/snack that size would work. But if you're looking for a meal definitely get a medium at the minimum.

Strolling down Santana Row, I finally got to try Palmetto! The Acai scene in South Bay and San Jose has been scarce, so it's awesome to see them open multiple Palmetto locations! My go-to has only been Vitality Bowls, which is pretty good, but it's nice to try something different occasionally. Arriving at Palmetto, it's a small storefront with one screen to order at with the menu on the wall. The line was out of the store, so we waited outside. My first impression was that people either didn't know how to order their bowls or their system was too slow for efficiency. There were only a couple of people ahead of us, and it took them at least five minutes to order. I think they need to add at least one more screen to order. I also didn't like how you don't interact with the employees. They seemed a bit standoffish, and I couldn't ask them a question. Their bowls were suitable for my liking, and their ingredients seemed high-quality. I got their acai and coconut for my base and the normal toppings like chia seeds, granola, and fruit. Enjoy your bowl on Santana Row's turf, which has tables and an open area.
